The PRINT West Valley Journal is published monthly and distributed to homes, public buildings and businesses in Rosemead and Monterey Park. Copies are also distributed to neighboring communities of Alhambra, San Gabriel and Montebello. Deadline is thefirst Friday of each month.

SGVJournal.com and West Valley Journal is published by Barron Communications, a family-owned business. The West Valley Journal have been published since 1998.

Our pages feature news about the communities of Rosemead, Monterey Park, Alhambra and San Gabriel. In addition, a diverse array of columnists and features that offer tremendous entertainment value.

These include the Beachcomber column by editor Dave Barron, Point of Law by Attorney G. Monty Manibog, syndicated columnist Ruben Navarette, Food Editor & Columnist Virginia Cisneros. Also featured are Sudoku and Crossword Puzzles from the pages of the Christian Science Monitor. The publication also publishes a regular Horiscope column and other puzzles.

We also feature opinion articles by local residents on timely issue of interest to local readers. The articles, news stories and columns reflect the rich cultural diversity of the West San Gabriel Valley. The publication first began as a monthly Journal. In June of 2008 we began publishing on a regular weekly basis.

OPEN RATE:

Repetition is the key to successful advertising and branding your business. We highly recommend our low-competitive rates that are earned through frequent advertising or annual schedules.
