City of Rosemead will hold the first of two community meetings Tuesday, May 4, and unveil plans for new swiming pools to replace aging pools in the north and south side of the city.

The first meeting will be held tonight (Tuesday, May 4)  from  5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Garvey Community Center, 9108 Garvey Ave. to provide general information about city services and recreational programs.

The second meeting scheduled Wednesday, May 5, will target in on specific plans to rebuild the pools at Rosemead and Garvey parks. The proposed pools would be aquatic centers offering water related recreational activities. This meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. at Rosemead dPool, 9155 Mission Drive.

Both meetings are open to the public.
