Cameron's is an independent privately owned restaurant serving Pasadena for the past 26 years. I visited Cameron's early on a Thursday evening. The clientele appeared more mature lending it a conservative atmosphere. The open view of the kitchen allows you to see the food being prepared on a mesquite grill.
All of the seafood is fresh and delivered daily, something that has been lost in the rush for casual dining. The dining room is spacious but has enough privacy not to hear your voice echo. From their extensive menu of seafood and steaks, for the main course I chose Cameron's Signature dish, Crab Cioppino, crab legs, shrimp, scallops, white fish, and mussels tossed in a marinara sauce. The entree was a full portion that easily feeds two even without adding pasta to the dish. I also chose the New England clam chowder which had a nice creamy homemade taste. I would recommend the bread bowl. Cameron's also carries a full bar. Cameron's Seafood Restaurant & Market is located at: 1978 E, Colorado Blvd. Pasadena,CA Price: $10-$20
