ALHAMBRA - FEB. 13, 2012 -- Alhambra Police Department is seeking public’s help in locating a missing juvenile. 
The missing person is Bridget Star John, 16 year old female, 5'1'', 95 lbs., Black Hair (long), Brown Eyes. She was last seen wearing a Denim Vest, burgundy sweater, blue jean pants, and carrying a camouflage duffle bag.

The missing teenager was last seen early this morning on the 1200 block of S. Third Street in Alhambra.
Persons having information that can assist in helping safely locate Bridget Star John, are asked to call 911 or the Alhambra Police Department at 626-570-5151.( Case #12-01061)

class="gkFeaturedItemTitle" National Consumer Magazine Gives High Safety Marks to Alhambra Hospital

Alhambra_HospitalALHAMBRA - Alhambra Hospital Medical Center has been ranked as one of the safest  hospitals in California and the nation in a report issued recently by Consumer  Reports, a national consumer organization. Alhambra Hospital received a score 64 points and was listed as one of the top  six hospitals in California.

Consumer Reports rated hospitals for safety, using “the most current data  available to us at the time of our analysis.” The report includes information from government and independent sources in 1,159  hospitals in 44 states. Among the categories reviewed were infections,  readmissions, communications and scanning.

Alhambra, March 7, 2012 - Mark Keppel High School Musical Program was recently announced as a winner of a $10,000 prize in the “Glee Give a Note Contest” presented by Twentieth Century Fox Television, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and its new Give a Note Foundation.

high_speed_rail_WEbVers_RGBSalvador Rivera showed up at City Hall Oct. 26 wanting to learn more about the state’s proposed high-speed rail project.  The security guard, an Alhambra resident for 40 years, said he missed the previous community forums on the train’s proposed route through the San Gabriel Valley, so he looked forward to attending the open house sponsored by the California High Speed Rail Authority. He wanted to add his take on the region’s transportation needs.
