ALHAMBRA - An Alhambra resident who was killed Sunday in a car accident has been identified as Hsueh Chen Wang, 48.
He died after the vehicle he was traveling in collided with another car near Garfield Avenue and the San Bernardino Freeway around 9:30 p.m., Alhambra, authorities said.
The victim died of multiple blunt force injuries, a Los Angeles County Coroner's Office spokesman said. Wang was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an Alhambra Police Department statement.
The female driver and male front passenger were sent to area hospitals for medical attention.
The other car contained three males who were not reported injured. Police said the driver of that car was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the statement said.
