Man Attacked at Alhambra Home Depot Parking Lot

Suspect Bello MoralesALHAMBRA – Police are looking for a man who attacked another in the parking lot of Home Depot at 500 S. Marengo Street at 8:47 a.m  on Friday morning, July 19.

Responding police units learned that the victim, whose name was not released, drove into the  Home Depot parking lot at 500 So. Marengo Street and parked his car. When he exited his car, he made contact with the attacker who is known to frequent the area looking for work.

 

For unknown reasons, the suspect attacked the victim, punching and stabbing him repeatedly. The victim collapsed on the parking lot and the suspect fled on foot.

The victim was treated at the scene by Alhambra Fire Department medics and rushed to L.A. County’/USC Hospital where he is reported in serious but stable condition.

Alhambra Police Department have positively identified the suspect as Juan Manuel Bello Morales, 36, of Los Angeles. They described him as a male Hispanic, 5’9” tall, approximately 190 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police consider Morales as armed and dangerous. They advise that if he is seen or persons know of his whereabouts to call the Alhambra Police Department at (626) 570 – 5151 or notify local police or Sheriff’s Department.
