Tips for Teens Getting First Job

Tips for teens on getting ready for the first job interview will be offered by an expert on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2 pm. At the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library.

Job interviewing tips and search strategies are part of the free job readiness workshop “Becoming Professionals” scheduled in the Friends Room at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library, 318 S. Ramona Street, Monterey Park.
The workshop will feature guest speakers Elizabeth Wu, Senior Human Resources Manager with the Panda Restaurant Group and Alice Wong, Senior Planning Assistant with the Los Angeles County Planning Department who will share job readiness information to young adults as they prepare and plan for employment.
The workshop is sponsored by the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library, the Chinese American Education Association and the East Los Angeles College International Student Advancement.
