Police Report Grow House and Burglary

Monterey Park Police and Montebello Police departments have separately reportd criminal activite in their respective areas -- one a residential burglary and another was the discovery of a marijuana grow farm in a business district.

MONTEBELLO - Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016

A Commercial Marijuana Grow was found by the Montebello police at 3300 block of W. Beverly Boulevard, Montebello CA.
During a previous day’s narcotics investigation, another marijuana grow was discovered. This location was next door to the original location of the search warrant. Probable cause was established for a search warrant at this secondary location.
Investigators served this search warrant later in evening last night. Once inside the commercial property, Investigator’s once again identified a fully operational marijuana grow equipped with same type of operation and set up as next door.
Investigators seized approximately 500-700 marijuana plants. The street value after the plants are harvested is estimated at $250,000 - $300,000.
The two subjects that were detained yesterday as part of this investigation were arrested and charged with planting, harvesting or processing marijuana (11358 H&S).
Arrested at the location were Nicholas Stone, 23 of North Hills and Artin Khudanyan, 32 of Glendale.

MONTEREY PARK – Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016

Monterey Park has reported that a residential burglary took place on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 in the 1200 block of Windover Way.
Two male adults were seen leaving the area at the time of the crime.
Persons having any information about the crime are asked to contact the Monterey Park Police Department at (626) 573 - 1311.
Residents are also asked to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhood because of the increase in home burglaries recently.
