COUNCIL MEETINGS: Alhambra City Council will meet Monday, April 14, 7 p.m. in the council chambers, second floor of City Hall. Alhambra will discuss a new ordinance to prohibit paroled sex offenders.

STATE BUDGET CRISIS MEETING – Thurs. April 17, 6 p.m. Assemblyman Mike Eng (D–Monterey Park) will host a community meeting to discuss the state’s $8 billion budget deficit and its possible effects on the 49th Assembly District. The event, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 17th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Alhambra City Council Chambers, will consist of brief presentations by state budget experts and local community leaders.
