On October 22, 2016 the City of Monterey Park, Centennial committee will host “Reflections”, a celebration of the past, present and future of the City. The event will feature music, amazing food, and dancing.

The Reflections Dinner will be held at the Langley Center (400 West Emerson Avenue) from 5:00pm – 9:00pm (dinner served at 6:30pm) Tickets are now available for only $25 at the Recreation & Community Services Department inside City Hall (320 W. Newmark Ave). Organizations and family groups may also reserve tables of 10 persons for $250. Sponsorship tables are also available for $500. Tickets will only be sold in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the dinner.
The evening will feature a reception, a delicious beef buffet dinner, plus a delicious sampling of foods reflecting the ethnic diversity of the community. Music, dancing and exhibits will also reflect the changing years since the city was incorporated in 1916.
When asked about the Centennial Dinner and what the community can expect:
“It will be a delightful evening of great food, music, dance and fellowship with your neighbors and civic leaders,” said retired City Clerk Dave Barron, who is chair of the event.
“The Reflections Dinner will be a great follow-up to numerous activities, including Play Days Festival, the Summer Concert Series and special event at East L.A. College” said Co-chair Carol Sullivan.
