Grand Opening Set for New Lounge, Restaurant

Did you know there is a brand new hotspot in town? Chi-Cali Lounge & Restaurant, located at 434 Potrero Grande Dr., Monterey Park (Best Western Markland) will have its official grand opening on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 5:30 pm.
Owner Ruben Montoya his team – Manager Leonardo Orea and Chef Charlie Alonso - invites everyone - whether you live or work in Monterey Park or the surrounding area to stop by for the grand opening ceremony and stay to enjoy a sampling of their menu as well as a drink or two after.

 Chi-Cali Lounge & Restaurant features a custom lunch & dinner menu choice from burgers to vegan dishes. Chef Charlie, the young but talented maestro in the kitchen, has been refining their menu since its soft opening in September. Many of his selections are custom made to order. Be sure to ask Chef Charlie for his recommendation.
The restaurant is decorated with rotating artwork by various artists. Mr. Montoya is looking to highlight more local talent in the future and encourages them to contact him. With the lounge downstairs, the 2nd floor is reserved for special events and live entertainment. Rudy Salas (co-founder of Tierra) and his All-Star Band, The Tease Band are just some of the bands that have played Chi-Cali Lounge & Restaurant. For a schedule of showings and entertainment download their Chi-Cali App on Android OS, It will soon be available on other operating systems.
Comedian Rudy Moreno (Grand Marshal for the Monterey Park Play Days Parade) has also performed. For those who want to show off their own talent, Wednesday nights are Karaoke nights.
With two floors, there is plenty of room to dance, enjoy live entertainment, or just relax with your friends after a long day. Check them out on Grand Opening Day! Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:30 pm.
