Rosemead Celebrates USA's Birthday with a Big Parade, Carnival and Fireworks!

 Thousands of people enjoyed celebrating America's birthday on Independence Day, July 4, 2016, in Rosemead starting with a parade in the morning down Valley Boulevard past Rosemead City Hall, activities during the day at Rosemead Park folllowed by the free fireworks show at 9 p.m.

 There were 51 entries in the parade including community organizations, City of Rosemead council and commission representatives, local school districts represented with Rosemead High School cheer and spirit team having a big group, bands, floats, vintage cars, horses, police cars and fire truck, mascots Chick-fil-A, Smokey the Bear, Little Caesar's Pizza, Target dog, and County of Los Angeles Fire Department's Sparky dog.

 After the parade, many people headed to Rosemead Park for food booths, music, carnival games and rides, and the free fireworks show at 9 p.m..
