Registration at St. Anthony's School

  • By David Barron
St. Anthony Elementary School, founded in 1948 in San Gabriel, California, has been continually staffed by the Sisters of the Holy Names (SNIM). St. Anthony serves students from pre-school through eighth grade.

At St. Anthony School, the faculty and staff are dedicate to providing a quality Catholic Education in which students are challenged to achieve academically, develop spiritually, and contribute meaningfully to society.

One of the action plans from the 2005 WASC school accreditation was to provide a computer lab capable of accommodating a full classroom of students. Fundraising for this project included small in-school fundraising, gifts from individuals, and a “challenge grant” from the Green Foundation.

A grant from the SNIM Ministry fund helped meet the “challenge grant” and complete the fundraising for this project. The computer lab will be completed and in operation by the Fall of 2008.

The new computer lab will increase the school’s reputation for preparing students for high school. Increased computer literacy will give St. Anthony students a better chance to compete and succeed in this age of advancing technology.

“Truly this has been a boost for all of us in the school community…the faculty, staff, students and parents are most grateful.” For registration information to attend St. Anthony’s School, contact the school office at: 626-280-7255.
