San Gabriel – The identity of a a female accident victim has now been identified, according to the San Gabriel Police, three days after the accident.
On November 17, 2009, at 5:40 p.m., a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision occurred at the intersection of San Gabriel Boulevard and Live Oak Street in the City of San Gabriel. A female Asian, 5 feet tall, 90 pounds, approximately 70 years of age, wearing a white shirt and a black skirt who was involved in the collision had not been identified. Investigators sought the public’s assistance in attempting to identify the female.
On November 20, 2009, the unidentified woman’s family members contacted law enforcement officials. She was identified as Violet Fan, an 81 year old Temple City resident.
The San Gabriel Police Department also wishes to remind everyone to drive safely during this holiday season.
