Montebello Police Seek Public's Help in Finding Murder Suspect

Montebello are seeking the public's help in capturing a murder suspect who may have killed his estranged wife. Police reported that on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at 9:56 p.m.,officers responded to the 1200 block of Victoria Ave. regarding shots fired call.

Upon the officers arrival, they observed a female victim that was deceased from a gun shot wound. The deceased was later identified as Roxann Acosta. 

Through the Detectives investigation and witnesses at the scene, the suspect was identified as the victim's estranged husband, Christopher Michael Diaz. Diaz is an alleged gang member and considered armed and dangerous.

Montebello Homicide Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating Diaz. If anyone has any information that would assist Investigators in locating Diaz, to call the Montebello Police Department.
