Are you a new United States Citizen or have a loved one in the U.S. military service?  The city of Monterey Park is looking for you!

The City Council and local elected officials will be on hand to present certificates.  This ceremony will take place at the Barnes Park amphitheater (350 S. McPherrin) at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 4.

The event is part of Monterey Park's celebration of American Independence Day. The program will include music, food, games for children, sky divers and a fireworks show.
