Rosemead High School coed Freesia Quezada was chosen as the Rosemead’s 4th of July Parade Queen. H er official reign as the parade queen began when she was crowned at the City Council meeting Tuesday, May 26.

City of Rosemead will be celebrating its 50th anniversary of its incorporation in during 2009 with a variety of activities ranging from a local festivities to a projected huge birthday bash. The area was first settled (other than native Americans) by John Guess and his wife, Harriet.
