As a result of the rain, the today's Lunar New Year event event has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, January 22, 2012, Rosemead City officials announced. The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 8001 Garvey Avenue (former site of the Auto Auction. The location is just west of San Gabriel Boulevard.The City of Rosemead and EDI Media, Inc. are welcoming the New Year with a multi-cultural event featuring live entertainment, great food, a variety of merchandise booths, and family activities. The city and EDI is inviting local residnets to "Enjoy an international celebration in Today's Small Town America!"
