Queen Tam will be a senior at Rosemead High this fall. As a junior, she ranked first in her class by earning a 4.08 GPA. She is active in a number of activities include the Associated Students, Gifted and Talented Education, Future Business Leaders Association and Academy of Business Leadership's Summer Business Institute. She also has been a key member of the Rosemead High's track and field teams and tennis teams.

In her role as parade queen the city stated that she will be the official Rosemead youth representative for the City of Rosemead.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will travel east on Valley Boulevard, from Bartlett Avenue, then north on Loma Avenue to Rosemead Park. The parade will be followed by a festival and then a fireworks show in the evening at Rosemead Park.
