National Football League (NFL) owners voted 30-2 in Texas on Jan. 12, to approve the St. Louis Rams relocation application for moving to Los Angeles area.
During a news conference on Jan. 12, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league will provide $100 million to both the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders if they remain in their current cities.
Rams will eventually play at the proposed site in Inglewood in 2019. Rams could be joined by San Diego Chargers, who have a one-year option to decide if they want to relocate and join the Rams in Inglewood. If the San Diego Chargers do not move to Inglewood, the Oakland Raiders will have a one-year option to join the Rams in Inglewood.
