CARSON - Down, 1-0, early in the first half, Real Salt Lake turned to Fabian Espindola, who scored goals at the 24- and 27-minute marks to beat the Los Angeles Galaxy Saturday night at The Home Depot Center.
The Galaxy took the lead in the 16th minute when a shot by Robbie Keane found the net.
Galaxy coach Bruce Arena said after the game that his team didn't play its best against RSL.
"(RSL's) first goal came a little bit against the run of play, but we were sloppy defending in our penalty area, not really sharp with our attacking play in the other penalty area," Arena said. "We just weren't sharp enough for 90 minutes. In the early going we were OK. We played a sloppy game today."
