PREP SOCCER: 6 Girls Teams and 1 Boys Team in CIFSS Playoffs

  Schurr High School boys varsity soccer team is the only area boys team in California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIFSS) Championship Playoffs as announced by CIFSS on Feb. 13, 2017. On Feb. 17, Schurr is at Riverside Poly at 3 p.m. or 5 p.m., decided by Riverside Poly. All playoff games except finals will be 3 p.m. or 5 p.m., decided by the host team.

  In CIFSS Girls Varsity Soccer Division 4 Championship Playoffs, on Feb. 16, Schurr will host Wild Card H game winner Camarillo or Rio Mesa and the winner of that game will play on Feb. 21, against the winner of Brentwood and Wild Card G game winner Mayfield or Burbank. Playoff games except for finals will be either 3 p.m. or 5 p.m., decided by the host team.

  In Girls Division 5, on Feb. 16, Gabrielino will host Lakeside (Lake Elsinore) and then on Feb. 21, the winner will play the winner of Colony and winner of Wild Card D game Linfield Christian or Oxford Academy.

  In Girls Division 6, on Feb. 16, Mark Keppel is at Katella and on Feb. 21, the winner will play Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley) or Santa Rosa Academy.

  In Girls Division 7 on Feb. 16, San Gabriel Mission will host the winner of Wild Card A game St. Monica Academy or Wildwood. Cantwell Sacred Heart on Feb. 14, will host St. Mary's Academy in Wild Card D game, with the winner on Feb. 16, playing at Arroyo. On Feb. 14, in Wild Card K game Ramona Convent hosts Capistrano Valley Christian with the winner playing at Pomona on Feb. 16.
